Thank you for taking the time to write the office of State Representative Stephen Dyer. Hearing the issues and concerns of constituents is a primary function of our job; indeed, Representative Dyer is most effectively able to serve his constituents when made aware of the issues that affect them.
I will make Representative Dyer aware of your concerns regarding the budget cuts for Ohio libraries at the earliest opportunity and rest assured he will keep your concerns in mind as this issue moves forward. At the present time, the budget is in the Conference Committee stage, where changes happen quickly. While Rep. Dyer is not on the Conference Committee for the budget, we appreciate your feedback on this issue and will keep it mind as the budget considerations continue. Libraries are an important part of our communities, and a great resource for our constituents.
