Representative Stautberg asked me to thank you for your email concerning Governor Strickland’s proposed funding cuts for our local libraries.

Our libraries have and always will provide an important service to our communities throughout the state. As a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, Rep. Stautberg supports the current method of funding for the library systems to keep these important facilities open and running.

Rep. Stautberg will do all that he can to ensure that funding for these important facilities is not slashed in accordance with the Governor’s proposal. I am also including the Governor’s contact information so you are able to tell him how you feel about his budget proposals if you have not done so already. While Rep. Stautberg does not sit on this committee, he will continue to monitor any new developments on this issue.
